Privacy Policy

Effective date: 31 August 2026. This policy describes how the current Pension Planner app and this website handle information.

Privacy-first design: Pension Planner does not require an online account. Retirement scenarios are stored locally on the device unless you deliberately export or share a backup or report.

Information entered into the app

You may enter names, dates of birth, pension and investment balances, income, spending, tax assumptions, retirement dates, capital events and other information needed to model a retirement scenario.

The current app stores this scenario information locally in the application’s private storage area. Pension Planner does not automatically upload scenario data to a Pension Planner server.

Backups, PDFs and user-directed sharing

Pension Planner can create exported backup files and PDF reports at your request. These files remain under your control. If you choose to AirDrop, email, save to cloud storage or otherwise share an exported file, that copy is then handled by the destination service or recipient you selected.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

The current Pension Planner app does not use advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.
